The location of the hotel was fantastic since it was very close to both Long Memorial Hospitals and John Wayne Airport, which is just 20 miles away. Additionally, I was able to visit the Sculpture, which was conveniently located at a moderate distance from the property.

Room comfortable. Staff friendly. Closeness to LGB a plus.
Absolutely no standard amenities: no shampoo, glasses, plates, utensils, etc. in room. Ice not available at all in the hotel. Nowhere near to get a newspaper. "Grab and Go Breakfast" a flat out joke and it was never even stocked appropriately.

THE FRIGGING FIRE ALARM WENT OFF AT 2 AM FOR NO GOOD REASON AND THEN AFTER SUFFERING THROUGH THE NIGHT UNABLE TO GO BACK TO SLEEP THE POWER IN THE WHOLE BUILDING WENT OUT! TOLD THE WHOLE CITY WAS OUT . WRONG!
ALL OF THAT AND THE PRICE WAS VERY HIGH ON A WEEKEND. I WANT MY MONEY BACK NOW!
